This webinar will explore emerging trends in the development of hospital and healthcare facility-based wellness and prevention programs, and highlight the role of these programs in improving the health of the health care workforce. Speakers will also describe federal standards for workplace wellness programs, including those related to Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), and will offer practical tips for avoiding legal problems and financial risk that can arise when a company develops a corporate wellness program.
