On October 24, 2017, Harry Nelson appeared on “In Your Right Mind,” a behavioral health radio program, which airs on Talk Radio 790 KABC Los Angeles. Harry discusses the “Florida Model” where residents stay in unlicensed sober living facilities and are then transported to outpatient treatment programs. A new Florida law now prohibits this type of relationship. California law, by contrast, is much more open-ended and has a lot of catching up to do, according to Harry.
