Nelson Hardiman Managing Partner, Harry Nelson, was interviewed by Lori Lundon on Voice of America about the latest republican led effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. Starting at 15:29, Harry states that greater public attention and awareness led politicians like John McCain, who previously supported repeal and replace, to oppose the bill. Harry did find the Bill’s attempt to address the equity issue between states interesting and believes republicans would have had more success if they led with this proposal in March. All the republican efforts to replace Obamacare, according to Harry, would have resulted in millions of Americans losing their healthcare.
