The November 28 Los Angeles Business Journal quotes Nelson Hardiman managing partner Harry Nelson.  Asked “Are holiday office parties a fading tradition?” Nelson responded, “The holiday office party is definitely on hard times, victim of the sluggish economy. But don’t count the holiday party out: I can’t say they’ll make a comeback–because holidays parties aren’t gone, just scaled back, like America’s military presence in the world.
