On November 14 and 15, 2015, Nelson Hardiman hosted the sold-out two-day executive training for the American Medical Spa Association’s (AmSpa), the leading provider nationally of business and compliance resources for medical spas and aesthetic medical practices. Nelson Hardiman attorneys Alex Thiersch and Harry Nelson addressed the 35 attendees on a wide range of regulatory compliance issues for the aesthetic medical industry, including corporate practice of medicine laws, supervision and scope of practice requirements for physician extenders, avoidance of fraud and kickbacks, and patient health data privacy and security compliance.
The all-star faculty included leading experts on every aspect of business strategy, marketing, and operations, including biotechnology and aesthetics entrepreneur Louis Frisina, plastic surgeon Dr. David Hopp, accounting guru Selwyn Gerber, and Christa Andrews, founder of The Retreat.
