Aviva Morady is a member of the firm’s Regulatory Compliance practice group. Leveraging her extensive expertise in healthcare industry regulations, Aviva provides sophisticated regulatory counseling to a diverse array of healthcare providers. Her practice spans behavioral health providers, home health agencies, hospices, clinical laboratories, pharmacies, durable medical equipment providers, physician practices, and other healthcare professionals and organizations. Aviva counsels clients on changes of ownership, licensure, and enrollment in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. She has successfully obtained licensure and certification on behalf of clients regulated by California’s Department of Public Health, Department of Health Care Services, and Department of Social Services. In addition, Aviva represents behavioral health, addiction treatment, and other providers in reimbursement matters and overpayment appeals. She also adeptly guides healthcare providers through governmental investigations.
Beginning her legal career in litigation, Aviva skillfully represented healthcare providers in state and federal courts across a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters. With extensive experience defending hospitals, health systems, and health insurance companies in fraud and abuse investigations and related litigation, she brings a well-rounded perspective to her work in advising on regulatory compliance and strategy.
